As the heading says........One of my sidelight bulbs has packed up :(

The question is, how on earth do you get to the bulb :? What needs to be removed to get at it? Any BTDT

Cheers........

Hi..no help I'm afraid! Just to say I've been watching your post for a reply, I've been pondering same thing. Luckily my sidelights are OK at the moment. Also wondering about the cap. discharge bulbs?.

ALSO....how do you convert them to Left Hand Drive ????
Hope someone replies.
Good Luck!

Found this on a search............

You need to take the xenon power pack off and slide your hand down behind the back of the lens. Your hand will have to be the width and thickness of a pencil though. I have just taken out both my headlights and changed the side + main bulbs, its much easier. two screws on top and one on side.

Sounds obvious really

What the guy is saying is that it's easiest if you remove the headlight assy completely from the car. Then remove the power pack assy from the back of the headlight to gain access to the sidelight bulb.

I'm trying to find out how you can convert to RH dipping(for Europe driving) I'm pretty sure you just make a small adjustment.
