Guys - I've had my S4 for 18 months or so, when I got the car she had Pirelli P6000 all round, they were crap. I changed and went for Bridgestone S03's all round, they are good, not excellent but good. Prior to that I wore Dunlop SP Sports on my M3 and they were good also. Anyone got any ideas what to go for next? I know its coming into the poop weather now in England and looking to get a good all rounder with decent treadwear. Any suggestions or should I stick with S03's? Jumped onto TireRack and the write up for Eagle F1's is not very good. But on the other hand the write up for Yokohama AVS Sport Db is very goodm but never heard of them....Help please..?

The comparison I read on tirerack was good but the Michelin PS2 just pipped it. That's what I've just fitted to my B6 S4 (previously Continental) and it feels a lot better. Some of this I believe is down to the stiffer side walls.

Depends on your wheels IMHO. I think for 17" Avus the Michelin Pilot Sports are the best (although they make the most noise). For 18" RS4 Reps I prefer Goodyear GSD3 although they wear quickly (have tried Continentals and Avons which were no good in comparison).

I've currently got Toya T1-s on mine at the moment, they're brilliant, not that i've tried others but compared to grip levels on other cars I've had I love them, when they're warm in the dry is great, wouldn't say they're the best wet tyres tho.
They're wearing a little thin now and will be replacing them again soon. Anyone had T1-s and then had others? Anything better etc?

I actually mean't the new T1-R...I had T1-S on mine and then had Michelin PS2 and the difference was enormous (more than I would have imagined) especially in the rain. I always thought that the T1-S was a great tyre as well....

Got the feeling I've been following Jeff's advice. Started with P6000s and thought they were crap. I then had Michelin PSs which were much better but had limits, so I then changed to Toyos. Again they were better. This time I opted for Michelin PS2s (with new wheels) and so far they seem better again...

I've got the PS2s and they seem brilliant in the wet and dry (only had p-zeroes on before though - what a load of crap!!). Had the Bridgestone S03 on my old S3 and they were good, but wore far too quickly.
