Whats the difference between the s4 and S4 facelift?

Can anyone tell me what extras the s4 facelift come with?

me too...I also believe that the "2000 facelift" model has a different ECU to the 1997/98 models - does this affect the performance or is it just a bit of "tweaking"?

If you go into the RS Menu on the left hand side of the screen and select Downloads, this will take you to a section where you can download a very useful buyers guide for the S4, the guide also covers the differences between the early and later S4's.

Some of the difference that I know about are:-
Cosmetic Changes
Once Pieace Headlights and Indicators (not two seperate units)
Pre Facelift had flush fit door handles.
Centre Console has different switches and layout
FaceLift models have digital clock with date on the Dash...
Facelift model S4 badge moved from the top lip of the boot to next to the number plate?
Some even later cars have different S4 badge on the back and dash.
Other Changes on later cars
Better Designed K003 turbo with bigger oil lines
F-pipe was removed? Replaced with what?
Cover over battery compartment....
probably more but that will do for now!

Oh and slightly different front brake setup, as you may discover when ordering EBC brake pads!

There are actually three different front brake setups
Pre Oct 99
Oct 99 - Dec 99 (this is a bit 'ish' as I know that my Nov 99 car has the different brakes)
