RS4 18" wheels on 2.7 S4?

can anyone please tell me if the 18" RS4 wheels will "fit" on the 2.7 (B5) S4?
whilst I'm sure they will go on (perhaps with an offset) my concern is whether they will be too big for the bodywork

Yes and yes - yes they will fit, and yes, they stick out by about an inch - get some RS4 replicas with an ET35 offset.

nice one Nige - thanks very much.
I nearly spent £600 on a set - glad I checked!
Any ideas where best place for set of replicas? Do these have narrower wheels?

AMD sell them, although they are not the cheapest - make sure you get 8 x 18" with an offset of 35. There are a lot of them about - check who makes them before buying them - I know ronal actually make RS4 reps - don't get the double-drilled ones i.e for s3 or s4 pcd.

Nige.

I have just had a set fitted myself. So Nige, tell me the worst - what's wrong with the double-drilled ones?

I think the answer will be "nothing, except they will stick out the side of the wheel arches about 1" either side", but lets see what Nige comes back with...

Mine are 8" ET35 and although this make them 'stick out' more, they are still within the arches and are OK. However indeed mine have 10 fixing holes instead of the usual 5. At first this concerned me, however my supplier sells a lot of these wheels and so I expect if there were any problems (e.g. weakness) they would have withdrawn them. I was hoping that even with the extra holes the wheel is still strong enough, and the holes just help reduce weight a tad...

Bigger sell on market for double drilled ones too.

ET35 is the correct offset, I believe.
The fact that they are 8", rather than the 8.5" of the RS4 suggests that they are replicas, but fit.
