It's gone

Post by Carps » Mon Mar 08, 2004 6:28 pm

Dropped my S4 off to the purchaser today
Gave her a last clean, before a last blast along some local lanes and up the M25, before handing it over...
I'm sorry to see it go in one sense, but I won't miss the 'worry' list:
- Jealous git scratching it
- Spending 15mins driving round a car park looking for a suitable spot
- Idiots that can't park or open their doors with wrecking the car next door
- What's that noise ?
- Cost of next extended warranty, and whether it is worth it
- To chip, or not to chip...
- Audi service...
- Driving like a nancy boy until it's warm
- Driving like a nancy boy to cool it down
- Did that camera get me ?
- Oh no, the petrol station doesn't have Optimax !
- You're not putting that bale of hay in here...

I pick up the replacement on Friday. That beastie will run on anything combustible, and my experience thus far of the my Land Rover dealers service department is good.

I shall continue to loiter as it's interesting reading how everyone is getting on and what the latest cause for concern is

Cheers all for any advice in the past, and helping to pass the boring days at work

Andy

O I feel your pain on the worry list. Having owned the RS4 for just over 4 months. Being my very first £35K super motor and a hell of a lot of money. I wonder if it's worth the worry. Then I go out and drive it. WooooooWhooooooo YES COME ON!! I wish I could afford to chip it. - There's no pleasing some folk I hear you all say. Ponnies are addictive!!
