2) DV - Baileys or Forge or Porsche 996TT ?
3) Brakes - Stoptech or Movit or Brembo?
4) Suspension - H&R coilovers or Eibach Pro damper kit or Bilstein/H&R combo?

As per the suspension, I got H&R coilovers. They are good, but mine are not adjustable, ie I can't make them firmer, due to this my front left wheel rubs on the rim (I do have 18" wheels tho) so I am now looking at a stronger sway bar to help.. just something to consider.

I suppose I can only competently answer (2) because I have studied it a lot. The 'better' depends on what you want because DVs are a compromise between reliability and responsiveness.
One option (which I know at least 1 owner here follows) is to use the Bosch OEM DVs which are diaphragm and therefore have the best response but the least reliable, but either renew them regularly of just always have a spare available.
The other option, if you don't want to risk a diagphragm failure, is to get an aftermarket piston type. IMO there is nothing to choose between these as long as the correct spring is fitted in order to suit the mods you have.
The only comment I will make about which one to choose is how well it fits. Space for DVs is limited on the 2.7 biturbo engine, so some (I think the Bailey and Hyperboost possibly) are a bugger to fit and keep the engine cover on.
Based on my experience with DV springs (and also by reading that of others), IMO a modded 2.7 biturbo engine should not be fitted with Bosch OEM valves.

I'd say you will be happy with any supplier for shortshifter, brakes and suspension as they will all make a big difference to your car. It just depends on who can supply/fit and the costs.

Well the divert valves were high on my list.Almost every car I have tested has had a split diaphragm this includes the 1.8T engines. When I got my car it was one of the first things I tested and guess what, both were split. You can test these easily if you have a vacuum gun Snap On, Mac and Sykes do them. Disconnect the vac hose and connect the gun, if you can't generate a vacuum join the club its scrap. The valves are not designed to be serviced unlike the after market ones. I went for two black Stratmosphere Hyperboost valves from Kim Collins. All the after market ones are more expensive than the originals but hey you will be buying them every 30-40000 miles so works out cheaper in the long run. Short shifter is next. I know lots of people like suspension upgrades, but I prefer the standard set up as its only used on the road. I worked for a small german super sports car manufacturer for many years and got fed up with driving modded cars on the road which made my eyes ache. Great fun on the track though. But every one has their own preferences so it depends on what YOU want. Drive a car with modded suspension B4 shelling out on a suspension kit.
Get the suspension set up properly also. Couldnt believe the difference in mine after having the bump steer set up on the track rod ends, car used to feed back bumps and wander slightly until that was set. Now it just goes where I point it without fighting the wheel.
There is a tool for raising the ride height to that of a standard A4 when adjusting this, once set the car is then lowered for the rest of the proceedure.
