Can anyone confirm that the 8 x 18 RS4 wheels fit the S4 ?

And some pics if possible

Are the standard S4 rims 7.5 or 8 then ?

Yes they fit. As long as they are the 5x112 size with 35 offset.
Joshie has them on his S4 Avant.

In the U.S. many are purchasing great looking RS4 replica Wheels. The are well-made and strong, unlike the original RS4 wheels. They are also 8.0 X 18 instead of 8.5 X 18. Josh @ www.achtuning.com can help you out. [img]images/graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img]

And as you say they are 8" not 8.5

They cost around £1100 including tyres I think - check AmD's web site

Right then, I have an answer on this. My thanks to Andiroo and Scott at AmD for being so helpful.

NO they do not fit.

RS4 8.5 x 18 wheels running 255/35 18 tyres are too wide for an S4, they seem OK on the inside, but the wheels stick out of the wheel arches by over an inch ! (this I think is why the RS4 has wider arches, obvious now doh)

Standard S4 wheels are 7.5 x 17 running 225/45 17 tyres.

AmD do 8 x 18 RS4 replica wheels which take 225 x 40 18 tyres so this will be my upgrade path. Joshie has these on his S4 avant.

The RS4 has 20 offsett. What is the offsett on the S4?

RS4 panels, now that would be interesting. I bought the S4 because it was understated fast, but I'm not worried about that now as I don't do many miles in it. I may just look into that.

I think the S4 has 35 offset wheels, not sure though.

You might have a problem with the rear wings on a Saloon [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Have you thought about Porsche wheels instead (like the RS2 had fitted) ?

The standard S4 avus wheels are 7.5 x 17 ET45 5/112
