DBA disc

It is widely accepted and a known fact that the stock S4 brakes is a weak part of the car and they warp easily whether you use it on the track or not.

In order to remedy this and instead of spending thousands upgrading to performance kits and for those of us who don't track the car but use it regularly on spirited driving on B-roads, has anyone tried DBA disc? They are australian made. Are they more durable than the stock discs and are they worth considering or should I just bite the bullet and buy a set of AP brakes?

Hi Kozmos,

Where did you hear about these? Is there a UK dealer? Just had a quick look on the web and I couldn't see much. Sounds promising though, I'm sure non-Audi brakes are the way forward!

I've already posted on this - do a search for S4 brakes - I have the dba brakes fitted - the UK supplier is Silverfish Performance.

How do you find them? Worth going for with some good pads? Did you replace the rear ones as well?

I am fed up with replacing my stock disks when they become warped, and thats without track use! I keep on saying, I will upgrade in 6 months, just get stock again just now to save money, but it has cost me more in the long run ... typical!
