Are S4 Avants really more exclusive the RS4s ?

I came across some production figures for the S4 versus RS4 yesterday:
RS4 - 6046 units
S4 - 4186 units

Perhaps rarer but more exclusive? - not in my opinion.
Great link though - answers all those questions about production figures posed previously on this site.
Wonder if there is anything similar for other manufacturers.

2232 Saloons do more 'exclusive' than the estates...err sorry 'Avant' versions [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Shame it doesn't tell us just how many were built in rhd format, then we'd see who has the lower build figures that really matter [img]images/graemlins/033102bigblink_1_prv.gif[/img]

I find these figures surprising to say the least when you consider Audi never sold the RS4 in the States.
S4 must be really rare over there too then [img]images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]
