Are pre-'99.5 S4's DBW?

Since we didn't get the B5 S4 until MY 2000, after mid-product cycle updates were made, all are DBW (drive-by-wire) here. But A4's prior to '99.5 MY updates had cable driven throttles ... so I assume S4's from '98-'99.5 did as well. True?

I'll second that. I have one of the first S4s year of manufacture 1997.


No probs with turbos yet at 58K miles 10K with AMD remap. That's done it.... [img]images/graemlins/yellows4.gif[/img]
