I am told they improve pedal feel, particularly when the brakes are hot.

Does anyone have experience ?

Assuming you are talking about the fleixible hoses, then not on an S/RS4 no, but it is true they do give a firmer pedal.

I doubt they make the slightest bit of difference as far as temp is concerned. It is simply that when you put pressure on the pipes they do not expand like the standard rubber ones do.

One thing to note though. I have heard of these braided hoses letting go, as it is much harder to inspect them and find any damage.

I've had them fitted to a couple of my cars, but only bothered when the old ones needed changing anyway.

HTH.

Certainly helps John, thank you.

I have the Porsche brakes on my S4 and I think this will be a worthwhile upgrade, along with dot 5 brake fluid.

Theoretically, the hotter the calipers (and therefore the greater the heat transfer into the brake fluid and brake lines) the better the improvement over standard brake lines ?

Fingers crossed
