My CD charger is broken

I'm getting an ERR1 when trying to read any CD from the Panasonic charger, looks like the new CD protection breaks it.. Anyone already gets this issue? My car is a S4 from 99..

Anyway went to my garage and this Panasonic charger would cost 500CHF to get it repaired or 700CHF for a new one (I've an Audi Concert autoradio with Bose system).

Now don't know what to do, buy a new CD Charger (don't think it's convenient to have it repaired) or directly change the Concert Autoradio to a new one? Alpine or?

Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

Vag Parts will ship to you, but it's still about 500 CHF.

You could also try Four Rings Spares - goto to the 'Latest Offers' page. They are £150 GBP inc. VAT. Chat to them nicely - I got mine for about £135 including shipping

Unfortunately got an answer from Four Rings Spares and they don't have any more CD Charger on stock..

Don't know what to do, wait a little bit more or completely change Audio system.. Let's see..

And failing that, my local Audi dealer (Epsom Audi) were knocking them out at £200
