Well I like them and I guess that's also my point - it's down to personal taste. I'm sure my wife would hate them though and she's the boss [img]images/graemlins/grrr.gif[/img]

I like them too, but normally I don't buy anything for my car unless it relates to performance or cleanliness. However when I vacuumed my car at the weekend, I noticed that my pedals were badly dirty, but I have no inclination to scrape the dirt off them. Maybe new pedals is the answer?

I also quite like these.
I have to say I also will not purchase anything for the car unless
a) Part to be replaced is broken
b) it improves performance

If they are made of aluminium, the weight saving alone should be good for 0.5s at the 1/4 mile, so their performance benefits are hard to refuse [img]images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

They look good but...Hmm there's no rubber on them at all..

I'm dubious as to how these all-metal affairs will work in the wet without little studs etc.

They claim increased grip over standard. last time I looked the coefficient of friction for bare steel/water/rubber was considerably lower than rubber/water/rubber.

In fact when I think about it my mate's Fiat Coupe' comes standard with aluminium pedals but they have rubber inserts like the TT etc. When the rubber wore down. They became pretty slippy prompting him to purchase a new replacement set.

I think they'd be too slippery for a British winter, but they sure look nice.
