Windows Operating themselves

When I went out to the car this morning, all four windows were down an inch or so, even though it was locked.

I know I did not lowered them from the remote as the keys are stored 'beyond use' overnight.

There had just been very heavy rainstorm.

I am sure I read about this somewhere, can anyone shed any light on it please ?

David

I think this was a problem on TTs, wasn't it?
Mine have never done it.
Has it been ing down in your car then?

Its has also been a problem on some RS4's from way back when.

Speak to your dealer, there must be an effective fix by now.

Cheers

Thanks chaps,

Any idea what causes it ?

Car was dry thankfully Paul, so it must have done it within 10 minutes or so before I noticed it (after the rain).

My very 1st Audi (A4 2000 model), did this before I bought it, apparently it was something to do with a build up of rain water in a well near the window sensor?? Driftbridge Audi in Surrey, sorted the problem, how I dont know. But you could give them a call, perhaps they could help if you have no Joy?
