Hi haven't visited the forums for some time could do with some advise the head gasket has blown on my S4 its 1999 with 180000 miles on the clock it has an LPG conversion, and I am looking at getting it repaired what are the other jobs that should be done while the car is apart apart form the cam belt water pump.

Should I be looking to port the head for more power what companies would you recommend I have owned the car for ten years any advise would be appreciated.

Where are you based? I'd speak to either MRC or Unit20 depending on your location, they'll recommend things to you.

Have you been on audisrs? Probably a better site to ask on than here, it used to be mainly B5 owners on there (I haven't been on there properly for some years now)
