Hi All,
Here my first post.
Long story short. I want a fast car, having sold my last boring so we could move, got a new job and can soon afford something a little silly.
For about the last 5-6 months I've been researching, checking for sale's, scouring ebay for parts. I now think I have a plan.
Once the cars bought, it'll be going up to MRC for a health check, if it checks out OK it will get a remap. If not ... Ill be ordering some parts.
Once that's out the way, I'll enjoy it for a bit and get all the bits and pieces like Audio/aesthetics etc done, then I'll be looking to start getting some power out of it. My ultimate goal is 300WHP. Not crazy high, but achievable on a budget I think.
So, here goes:
"Stage 0 + 1"
Full service, all fluids etc
SSAC Exhaust, this will be fitted and adjusted by a trusted exhaust specialist
Panel filter and Darintake mod
Stage 1 map
My guess here on a healthy engine is around 300bhp?
I'll take a little time to enjoy this and work out any issues it has, more than likely fit some bigger/better brakes and some form of suspension, then once I've had my fill it'll come off the road for a while ... Whilst its off the road:
"Stage 2(+)"
Intercoolers
Boost Hose Kit
Phenolic Spacers
Injectors (I need suggestions for this one?
Bosch 044 fuel pump, regulator (Fuel line replacement?)
K04 Turbo's
RS4 Clutch
Now, ultimately what I'd like is your input on what else should be added, what's not needed, what rough power figure I might expect, what you would do differently, what experiences you've had with any of these mods (positive and negative).
Thanks in Advance,
Dan

Nearly 100 views and nothing? No advise or help at all?

Hi Dan
There are probably very few B5 S4 owners on here. Niils and Jules obviously know a thing or 2 about them from their widebody experiences but most owners hang out in other forums I'm afraid.
And I have no idea what 300WHP equates to in English money as we generally quote (the less accurate) crank power on this side of the Atlantic so no idea what loses you will likely get.
