1999 S4 Avant Bose Amp - Where is it?

Hi,

Ive searched this forum for the answer and cant seem to find it.... I know on the saloon they are under the rear shelf area, I was also told that on the avant it was on the passenger side rear arch... well i've stripped it all out today and no amp on the arch.
I've removed the Bose bass unit and there is an amp behind the screwed down plate.... Is this just for the Sub or is this the amp for the whole system?

Any help would be most grateful.
