European Car's S4 project car

I found this nice series of articles on European Car's website:

They take a standard US-spec S4 saloon and perform various mods including brakes, suspension, chip, short-shifter etc. Makes interesting reading.

There are also projects for an M3, Boxster etc...

The owner of that S4 was a member of the Austin Audi Club, and yet the entire time I lived in Austin (nearly two years) I never once saw it.

I remember when he posted on the club list that it was being sent to California for the /european car/ project. Apparently he has a friend who works for the publisher and they approached him about "donating" his car. It was a no brainer, as all the mods were done free. It'a always about who you know.
