Mmmmmmmm, fresh paint.

Sounds a bit slow, will it stay KO3'd for long?

It's no slouch Bam, those K03s spool super fast so the power is there on tap, good enough for the moment but plan is to up the power down the line, probably plain jane K04s, with smic, updated fuel pump, injectors, clutch, which should see me in the region of 440odd, plenty for London roads n my needs!

For the moment I just want to get the interior and exterior as mint as possible, still have a few special touches in the pipeline which I'll update with as I go along.

:biggrin3: Cheers, it is lovely if I do say so myself! So much road presence too

The wheels are actually BWM wheels specially adapted and supplied to me by a company in the states, they are a 1 piece flow formed wheel, 10x18 with an ultra deep concave face, even with this size they weigh only 9kg as apprised to the 13kg OEM wheel

Mate, that is stunning! Another good job there Niils! The paint looks amazing in the photos, I bet it's even better in the flesh.
How long did it take you to get this far?

For the moment I'm going to stick with the RS interior Dan, it's absolutely mint and a very nice contrast against the black, but I still have a few ideas for down the line :bigblink:

Thanks Mike, glad you like!

The paint can only really be appreciated in the metal, looks like a simple black in low light but once the sun comes out... Oh.. My.. God.. It comes alive.

To be honest it happened so fast, saw the car on PH in December, rang the seller and then decided to go for it, so car was bought blind, i knew Grizz had a shell laying about, I took a train up to leeds, bought the car, drove it straight to Chester, dumped carvn keys with Grizz (he was like wtf?!) and jumped on another train back to London!

Everything else was done via email and whatsapp between myself and Martin! Haha

The guys next door carried out the conversion, Grizz done everything else, I chose the paint with helpe from Virdee as I wanted to keep it black but with a twist (originally ebony black)

Picked up the car mid Feb, then went about sorting the brakes, wheels, interior, tints, ice, flat bottom wheel etc etc

And here we are as it stands today :biggrin3:

Loving the stealth look. I really like what you've done with the matching mono colour wheel caps - close up pics in your other thread in the Polo!

You've got some pretty big spacers on the back!

You get the rear bumper sorted? Remember talking to you at AITP about it.

Thanks bud, love how they've come out to be honest, running 12mm spacers on the rear which sit just inside the arch but fill them out well.

Rear bumper not sorted as of yet, probably leave as is through winter now then put back in the bodyshop for a few bits.

Nice! I love a bit of air! Had a look myself but there wasn't enough room in the boot for the kit and my stereo.
More photos!
