Hi All.
I am new to the fast Audi forum and have come from a history of playing with Porsches.
I now need a fun car which can accomodate my children and hence the S4 seems ideal. The 2.7 V6 turbo engine offers better economy than the 4.7 as well as offering potential for modifications.
At this time, it is anticipated that the S4 will be the third car and used on weekends and I am keen to aquire a car requiring a little work.
What are the common well known failiure modes on these cars? Anything in particular to look out for? Does anyone know of any cars offered for sale?
Many thanks.

Audi s r s . Com is your friend
Re: Considering a S4 B5
I am not very technically minded, but they can leak oil due to blockages in the crankcase breather pipes, which then creates the pressure. We have never had this issue on ours, but I am having the breather pipes checked on Monday by our garage, as we are also having some other work done in this area. Hope that helps. Good luck finding one.
