:notworthy:

i salute you sir.
:jump_clap:

well done. this has been an excellent read. and should help fellow s4 owners to be able, one day, to attempt this on their own.
i wounder if we could make a locked thread with all your photos in as a kind of step by step guide.
seeing the ups and downs of it all.
you must report on power delivery, overall smoothness and mpg. power will be mentioned of course.
would be interesting what components you used. rods and pistons. where and dimentions. ( std or bigger) did you use any rs4 bits.? crank bearings oil pump etc.

well done that man.

the engine has the following spec,s4 block, rods from dahlback, standard pistons, low comp head gaskets, standard s4 heads with ported/welded manifolds, raceware head studs,rs4/6 hybrid turbos, millitek downpipes with the cats removed, custom fmic, mrc intake pipes,rs4 maf and y pipe, lower rs4 airbox, apr bi pipe,600cc injectors,10 bar fuel pump,water/methanol injection,200bhp shot of nitrous, replaced the gearbox too for a very low mileage one also rs4 clutch which should last at least 5 mins...i still have a very slightly lumpy idle which it had before,no air leaks either only a faulty boost valve which i will fix before the map gets tweaked, also has vag com running permanently through the kenwood head unit 8)

I could live with a front mount cooler as neat as that.

How much would it cost to build another setup the same?
