Finally: you can get an S4 saloon - RS4 comes in estate car/dog bus format only!
It's a well known fact that Saloons are for cowboys!

Hmmmm...
1) A working car (or even a small fleet of rusty yet reliable old bangers)
2) Few years off the mortgage
3) Surgery to replace my man parts following the girlfriend's reaction to the "No holiday again this year" news
4) Therapy to get over the S4 addiction
The list goes on.

Yeah but what else could you have bought for 30k?
Heather Mills for about 30 Minutes of marriage?
RS4 in the only colour to have - Misano Red | MRC Remap | RS6+ brakes | H&R and Custom Performance Parts suspension |

That'd be enough time to get her legs in the air .... or even one of them off!

Think about the benefits, park in a space right outside the shops with enough room so no-one will ding your door. Also easy access.

Although your car looks stunning in yellow, Id be after a black or silver one. It would draw too much attention in my area and Im after the stealthy look.
Talking about buying parts from my car... if I was to "break it"

Yes but the point of this post is to compare RS4 modding vs. S4 modding. Labour is a big part of that!

I can agree with that, but I thought about this also.
Your running better suspension and brakes to an RS4 so both those need adding to the RS4 also.
To get an RS4 to 500 bhp you'll need a good exhaust, a FMIC and possibly better turbo's. Again similar costs to yours. I admit the RS4 will probably jump 500 and go a little more but to get a minimum of 500 will still cost dear.

True...
But the brakes and suspension are sufficient for fast road use where as the S4 really is not great.
FMIC & remap has seen some guys over 500 in an RS4... so I dont think it is that hard? If you wanted to spend what I did on an RS4 you would get 650BHP... or close to.
