I had a RRV Fireblade which I sold not that long ago.....Also work on a few mad motors for a mate who races in the straightliners series including a supercharger busa.... nutta! Where do you go for thrills when you are used to doing 8 sec quarters and terminate at over 180mph?? Sod that!
Id rather feel like my car is fast! Ignorance is bliss! ;)

Started life (too many moons ago) - Kawasaki KR250 (two stroke, talk about power band !), followed by Suzuki Katana 750 (the one with the daggy pop up headlight). Lost an argument with a Daihatsu Charade (wrote the car off, partly mangled bike and legs).

Now with Imola Yellow, 2000 Avant APR Stage 1, BiPipe, snub mount, DBA 5000 Slotted Rotors / EBC Green Stuff pads. Std options in Australia including black leather electric recaros, Xenon lights, Bose, CD stacker (ipod hardwire coming), tow bar, parking distance control, arm rests, ski bag (who the hell knows why in Western Australia !).

Mrs has 05 Golf GTi (black on black - DSG, Sunroof, leather electric lumbar) - planning a special APR "service" for hers !

Convict, You'd be surprised what you can get away with the Mrs!

She drove my S4 after I'd had it tuned by MRC (I just mentioned it in passing, and quickly glossing over the extra 50bhp) and she said "oh yes, it's a lot smoother now"! (which is also true of course)

Given that she never takes it out of "D", not even to venture into "S", let alone "DIY" she may never notice unless it is my turn and she happens to be in the car. I fondly remember 15 years ago looking over my left shoulder while turning right at speed on the Katana and wondering why she was leaning left - seems she was worried about falling over or somesuch. Ahhh - to be in the sub 25 bracket on the other poll ....

I must say the next generation of female Convicts love nothing more than either vehicle getting a decent hammering with the old man at the wheel.

(PS I APR'd the previous S3, plus BMC CDA, Samco intake pipe and Forge DV - she noticed those as she had no choice but manual)
