Where you may be right and make cleaning/keeping clean WAY easier - when the car is clean, the silver CH's and brushed alu wing mirrors just look gorgeous. In the sun the car turns just about every head it passes. It looks stunning, love to have a comparison...

There's an Imola RS4 B5 at Doug's at the mo with silver mirrors and roof rails. It's got black CHs and looks superb.

I agree, I think the black will look the best. Will be more of a change from what you currently have also.

Yes AFAIK.

I'll be going black wheels on my silver car. If it was yellow I would have no doubts about doing it.

The wheels are replicas, the seller knows this but has failed to amend the ebay listing.
One for trading standards I think.

I asked Doug to take a pic of the Imola RS4 in the shop, but he never mailed back :(

Fitted the 18" CH's - not had change to weigh them yet, but the car doesnt look nearly as good as the 19's :(

Car is behaving much better on the road, so reason for changing them was justified. Will wait for the tyres to bed in a little more before throwing it round a few bends.

So you are running the 8.5" x 18" CH's now? With 225/40 Asyms?
