Does anyone know what extra Ram had done to get 451bhp from his S4?

Damn good fun isn't it

Even better when the weather cools down.
Looks like I will have to get the FMIC fitten then.

Shaun, is the FMIC available for the S4 yet ? Who's doing it - AMD ?

Jeff, can you summarise what you did to your car to get cica 400bhp - apart from the (obvious) K04's, I mean did you have the 5bar FPR or RS4 fuel pump fitted, RS4 MAF & airbox, RS4 injectors ????

Thanks.

Nigel

The conversion is

Pair of K04s
Milltek Headers, Cats & Back box
RS4 Pipework to turbos
AmD remap

That's it

I think he put some details on his website, but certainly I know that his car was shipped to MTM in Germany for some work, and involved work on the heads. I'd therefore expect some gas-flow rework and new cams, and possibly enlarged valves & seats. Having had that done it would have been madness not to have ported the manifolds. I'm sure he has had intercooler work done too.

Oh and of course he had K04s and associated RS4 fuel parts.

BTW it may have been 415bhp from MTM, but it needed an AmD remap for it to get to its 450bhp (which is what it was last time I spoke to Ram).

Watch this space. (I just noted my previous post said I was going to get my car chipped. I was actually getting a 20k service!)

Golich,
I've now asked Forge for some stronger springs - I'll let you know my views after I fit them.

Jeff,

Is that the £4200+VAT conversion as per AmD's web site ?

Outstanding Jeff. You've got yourself a real animal now. I guess those replacement CATs are providing the equivalent perfromance over fitting RS4 MAF, injectors etc.

You know your going to have to get the suspension done now. The improvement in mine from jsut fitting RS4 units has transformed the car.

O it's money money....
