And aren't there airbags in the A pillar?

No airbags in A pillars. The double pod A pillar panel was custom made.

I made the pod. took about 15 hours in total.

Apexi do a 40mm or 42mm boost gauge, Seen them 2nd hand on ebay for about £40

Won't match the S4 dials (white needle + red display). Looks a bit cheapo too.

Autometer gauges you can change the colour of the backlight by as Lemond said "slipping on a coloured johnny"

They do sell coloured light bulbs but they are not quite bright enough.

Just realised that the background colour really needs to be a dark grey to match my dash. Probably something like this....

That's the gauge I have in mine. It doesn't really match that well to be honest which doesn't bother me. It's a cracking good gauge but if the match is more important then go for something else.
