Just an excuse to show my pictures of the AMV8 that a mate gave me a shot of. Get it above 4000rpm and the exhausts open up and the machine comes alive a beautiful deep roar.
Had one of Hobson's back pipes on my S4 but it was just a bit to loud for me but everyone has their own tastes - cannot fault the workmanship & quality of the pipe. Moved over to Miltek dual cat back system - while this is louder than standard as you'd expect, i find it easy to live with as my car is a daily driver.

Got the exhaust fitted today, haven't had much of a chance to use it yet...

... When I picked it up from the garage the owner said "She's sounding well" Then the mechanic handed me the key and said "Sounds really nice".

Started up, and they were right. I really nice low burble.

Driving wise I don't find it too loud at all. It sounds awesome between 2-4 thousand revs and I can't wait for my mate to drive it so I can see what it sounds like outside of the car.

The workmanship is top quality and it look a lot better than I expected it to when it's on. Nothing too flashy like some crap chrome you can get, but not too dull like my old exhaust either. Just right.

Cheers Steve!
