Hi Graham, my S4 was standard for around 6 month's of ownership and then I went had a few mods done to the car, MTM 320bhp chip, Adjustable H&R/Bilstein suspension, Milltek exhaust,Short shifter (all of the mods done by Kim Collins). Transformed the car completely and was a real blast, I then moved onto the RS4 and again ran her standard for a while and then had her upgraded at MTM. The RS4 was amazingly quick and huge huge huge huge fun, ballistic performance for an estate car. I think the RS4 is one of the only cars I have ever looked at and thought what a beautiful menacing shape for an estate. The conversations and admiration at Petrol Stations and car parks from other people were amazing, but I will always have a soft spot for my S4….the problem with both of these cars is space…or lack of it. An thats why I went onto an S6, its seemed a cheap move compared to the RS6 to see what more in size I would gain. The transition isnt painful just different, the S6 is just an easier car to own, you get in you drive off, you pull up..you turn off. It doesnt particulary stand out from the crowd (althought mine does have RS6 wheels and a Milltek exhaust, lovely growl!) but it look good. That’s why I am looking now at either RS6 or an M5 (I know I know, but you have to try one of these for a day they are magnificent all-round cars!)

Heres a few pics of my old girlfriends!

Of course I did! But I can't find one with low (ish) mileage for my budget!! There are 3 for sale in the whole country on autotrader, one is 160 miles away and LHD, the others are 130000 milers which is just too high for me to justify spending that amount of money on!

Ah, I see. Some cars are just rare. I tried finding a 540i BMW, almost non existant.

Too much? Knock at least £1K off that I reckon.

Hi Graham
yea, they are rare, of course there are more than 3 for sale, just not within my budget. Er, yea, thats too much really, the wife would go bananas! More like £12k which buys a 65000mile 2000 S4, or a 1300000 mile 1999 S6. Or maybe even a 2005 05 6000 mile Accound Estate! My heart says S4, my head (wife!) says Accord!!!!!!
