There's two "generic" pictures of the facelift changes for a standard B5 A4 floating about. I'll see if I can dig them up.

Here they are :

It's not standard, for example not everyone has double din either, possibly USA spec?

I have the auto dip mirror, but IIRC it was a cost option.

I think it's the same as the MFSW, both were options for the A4, but for some reason Audi UK did not offer them as an option for the S4. It is ridiculous because my car was built on the same line as everyone else's, but I just got different options because they were entered into the system by my German dealer.

Since the auto-dim mirror is powered, a retrofit woulf need wiring. However since it is physically connected to the roof trim where there is wiring for the lights, it ought to be a possibility.

I'm also sure that the MFSW should be a retrofit, just need the MSFW control module and maybe some extra wiring. Please note that it is not an S4 MFSW, it is just the bog standard 4 spoke from the A4.

Multifunction steering wheel
Rear acoustic parking sensors
Dippy does this only apply to S4's?

My Dad has a B5 A4 avant in SE spec that has rear acoustic parking sensors. It is a UK supplied car.

Cheers,
John

Correct - for some reason the UK options list for the S4 had this missing.

Dont know wether it was optional or not but the pre facelifts did have a basic version of sat nav.

Mine is personal import with parking sensors but does not have the auto-dipping mirror. Does have dip wing mirrors though.

David, you're not refering to the road map I had on my passenger seat when I turned up last week are you? That was an aftermarket mod.

Lol. Not quiete!! It was a realy basic version with the cd reader in the boot and it used the red screen on the dash only, no full satnav in centre console. Glad your cars well after all that and im glad it didn't decide to ignite on us!!!

Also I think the turbo improvement was ONLY to the oil lines, not the turbos themselves.

As well as the Hitachi MAF and the 4 lamda's, the whole engine is a revised version to meet newer EU emission rules.
Does that make the facelift version more efficient? Do the MPGs vary between versions?
