you will comfortably kill an M3 (which is the main rival in the same class as the S4) if you choose a nice wet/icy day! In fact, if they are mad enough to want to play you will most likely have to turn round and help to pull them out of the ditch!
also look at it from the other perspective! If someone with a modded scooby or Evo decide to 'play' with the S4 they will be utterly distraught when they look in their rear view and see it still there, and as speeds increase the gaps will probably close! totally different type of vehicle anyway, its like comparing trials bikes with cruising bikes!
350BHP how do I get more
I know Scoobies are light, but check out the power @ the wheels (PaW) figures here (nothing to get excited about):

If you want more, you can have it. You have to pay to play though. Extracting more than 350 requires new turbos. Same is true for EVOs and Scoobys. I have an ex colleague who has spent nearly 15K (engine goes bang = 8K, rest on tuning) on his Evo and currently around the 380 Bhp mark. VW 1.8T is pretty much same story low 300s no problem, anymore you get big £ bills and really peaky engines.
At least with 2.7TT engine you get a easy to drive car at the end, as well as a really big bill...

99 Ming Saloon, Tanoga S/S, De-cat APR D/Ps, Miltek catback, Forge DVs, RS4 suspension, K04s, I/Cs, MAF, Clutch, injectors, oil cooler, airbox, Y pipe, spark plugs, front brakes, Vast EFK, Walbro fuel pump, MRC custom tune, 18" B7 RS4 reps, Kumho tyres
Here is mine in 2003. It only cost me around £1000 to get 360 but it was all second hand stuff. It has 380ish now and still going strong. So you can kind of bank on all EVOs being over 300bhp 3 years on.

I dont think you can compare the 2 cars as the Audi is miles better on nearly every front and I do love it. I think it is always the same though. The more you have the more you want.

Unfortunately when it comes to an encounter with a Subaru you never know whether to be happy because you won or sad because you lost.
There are so many stock 200hp models out there and then again there are loads of 300,400 and 500hp ones on the loose as well.
Whether you win or lose... you can never be sure quite what you were up against.
Kinda takes the pleasure (or the pain) out of it LOL

And at the same time having played with a WRX STI recently and the look on his face as he pulled up behind me in a queue of traffic I dont think he knew what had just passed him either judging by the way he was leaning over his steering wheel trying to read the back of minescoobydood wrote:Whether you win or lose... you can never be sure quite what you were up against.
