Wonder whether a previous owner had a hands free kit installed and the wire went to the microphone?

Anyway, back on topic. The connector has a switched 12 volt supply to it so I guess its going to become home for my snooper then :D

Hi Daz,

theres a switched 12v power supply pole on the bottom of the fuseboard in the dash. I think its marked up in yellow with 70 written on it??ive used this for hardwiring my snooper.

When I tested my car upon getting it my mpg was 16! Then MRC told me my MAF was under reading by about 10%!

Norm for me is about 23, 28 on a real long steady motorway run.

30 does sound like something may be up. IF it was low I would say reset and try again, but the average mpg reading is normally quick enough to drop IMO.
