Whats up with it Jon?

How much has the CR been lowered by and what method?
I keep getting limp mode from a positive boost deviation. So, I think I have a vaccum
plumbing problem (I don't have a pressure tester). Also, I think my wastegates might be
mismatched. I have Buehn turbo's which are notorious for this - unfortunately for me I
forgot to tell Doug to check the cracking pressures before he fitted them.

The CR was lowered with gaskets from 034. Should drop me 0.7 points which means
I should be around the 8.6:1 mark.

I still got a 3.75 FATs so I am hoping we can sort out these issues and get around
the 3.5 mark.

I have just picked up on this sorry. Doug correct me if I am wrong:

Airbox = S4 with RS4 top bit
Maf = RS4
Y-Pipe = Std S4
Turbo inlets = Not sure what you mean, std S4 intake manifold
Turbo spec = RS4/6 Hybrid, port and polished
Intercoolers = RS4
Inlet manifold = Std S4
Injectors = Big jobs? Doug?
Fuel Pump = High pressure, Doug?
Heads = Std S4
Compression = Std S4
Exhaust manifolds = New Std ones (later style I think)
Downpipes = Gutted pre cat RS4
Exhaust = Miltek dual catback

Some guy joined this forum and said he was new and he had a new car, then posted pics. He said it goes very well......I don't think he was aware of the mods at the time. Never seen him since but I'm sure he is around.

In addition to above and within 6months of me selling it she had:

Re-furb starter
Afterun pump mod
New radiator
New RS4 clutch and flywheel
New lambdas
New EGT's
New thermostat and pump
RS6+ front brakes
Later style S4 rear brakes
New prop shaft
4 x new uprated shocks
4 x springs (not std and not H&R, can't remember what they were - Eibach perhaps?)
All new front suspension arms
H&R thicker ARB's
AWE DTS
RS6 18" wheels
M3 rear lip spoiler
Later style facelifted dash
6 x new coil packs
Upgraded 55w HID dipped beam
35w HID main beam
DAR Intake mod
New idler pulley
New vacuum pipework and valves
Cambelt
Re-furb alternator
Custom racing oil cooler
All new RS4 turbo piping and oil lines
a few other bits
and a BRAND NEW 1.9TDi badge on the back.....

Mark - yep. When I sold it the compression was Std. The guy that bought it off me, ran it flawlessly (apart from a noisey exhaust rattle) and hard for about a year.

At the time, MRC had not done many (if any) Hybrid conversions and we were unsure what to do. Minhea thought it would be a good idea I think but I think it was me who said no and I didn't fancy the extra expense and TBH could not warrant spending any more....wife still has no idea what I spent on it....!

yep thats my car now. thanks rob.
the only trouble i get is the 'intermittent earth fault' from the egt's, need to investigate..
future mods are to be the apr pipe, water injection. 2x 200cc jets, and a fmic. then a check on fueling at that should be it.
i'm worried about pushing the gearbox and diffs. dont want them going. cars a high mile'er.
