2 years of absolute storming fun.

99 V Facelift 93K miles. Owned for 3 years (purchased at 36K miles)

AmD K04 conversion
RS4 Suspension
AWE Chassis Brace
HiSpec 335 x32 rotors with HiSpec 4 Pot Monster calipers
Low level spoiler
AmD quick-shift (don't know which one)
Drivers side Recaro Style with climate pack (too tight to buy 2 !)
Everything else is standard

Seems like a good place to say hi,

I'm getting my S4 on Monday, it's a '98 S Avant in Silver

I'm yet to discover the exact spec, but I do know it has an MTM chip,
stainless exhaust, a short shift & some rather nice alloys!
I'll probably be full of daft questions for you all when I get it

Welcome Scotty - don't prang it taking it home - looks like a nice motor. Think they are RS6 alloys.

The only daft questions are the ones we don't ask. I learn more from the questions other people ask as well as my own.

bought 18 months ago at 12500 miles
now 35000
keepin it till fuel stops comin out of ground!!!
stock at mo but every time something breaks it gets modded
ebc beakes all round and there doing fine.

2000 W reg metallic silver facelift sedan, 50k miles, centre arm rest, heated leather recaros (front and rear), "ski bag", carbon fibre trim, OEM boot spoiler.

I've since added: B6 S4 alloys, 20G Phatbox, 710N BPVs, afterrun pump sensor mod, RS4 grille, and a VastPerfomance (aka "Piggie") short shifter. Oh and a VAG-COM!

Things that have gone wrong since I've had it (about 2 years now) : boot lid sensor, Lamda sensor, rear disks, climate control panel, wing mirror electric adjustment, brake pipe routing (which was apparently "wrong" when I got the car), battery replaced.

I really like my car, and remain happy with it every day

Though I'm now sorely tempted to get a MRC remap!

Cloth interior- boo ,hiss! (can live with it but leather should have been standard for euro-spec S4s)

To do : coilovers are on the cards as the ride is giving me grief. Remap when im feeling flush.

- do the B6 s4 rims fit no problems - iv heard you need spacers to clear the brakes.

Mine: 99 facelift saloon, Silver, black leather, 43k,FASH, totally standard.

It's a great car but I really could do with the either practicality of an estate, or the thrill of a sports car, so may be moving on to something else soon...

Just picked up my '99 Facelift in Imola Yellow. Completely standard with 67K and FASH. Black Leather on the inside.

bespoke intake, 3in downpipes/cats, bespoke manifolds, miltek cat back, green tops, webasco pump, awe trans stabilzer, rs4 turbos/ic's/clutch bespoke piping. forge dv's h+R coilovers, eibach rear bar, porsche 993 calipers, strengthened bottom end, irdium sparks, 034efi head gaskets, intake insultator, rs32 wheels and yok's

nice spec, still in bits will complete soon and have MRC map it

can't wait

been 3 months in the making

Car is running after a few months off the road....awaiting new map by MRC

Had it for 3 years +.....probably wont sell it. Am looking for an RS6 Avant to get more room for the family....hard to find a noggy one

98 Avant in imola yellow,which i like,60k,black leather,armrest,carbon,Bose,18 RS reps which i am hoping to replace with 18" Ronals ala S6, MRC Re map,uprated DV,s,usually sitting in the garage with little use but not selling it.
