miles per tank part 2
Re: miles per tank part 2
24.7! Bloody hell I wish i got that. Mine seems to like 16.7 best - it always seems to boil down to that; certainly no more than 18, anyway. I suppose that's becasue I never do any mototway miles - it's all back road fun

16.7mpg!! blimey i get consistently over 25mpg in my standard S4 with a reasonably heavy right foot. u got something wrong there mate.....
Re: miles per tank part 2
I'd say that 16.7 MPG is perfectly normal if your style of driving is agressive and there is no opportunity to get the fuel consumption up with a long motorway run.
Gentle driving = 24 MPG
"Flogging the arse off it"= 15MPG
Just my experience

Re: miles per tank part 2
Out of interest, what fuel are u using? I'm convinced this makes a big difference to the fuel economy of the car.
Re: miles per tank part 2
Yeah, that's right Joshie.
I don't think I drive unduly aggressively all the time but everyone else does - best not to fly in the face of public opinion
I don't care if I get 16 mpg as long as my pants are always on fire
I use Texaco SuperPlus BTW

What do you mean 'gentle driving'? 23-24mpg is my average. I may not drive like you or Bushy, but I'm no granny either!

NB BOYZ, the air mass meter does not show up in the fault memory when it fails! You can see if its working by looking in its measured value block. Or disconnect it. Car will run off throttle position sensor. Holding back will then disappear. This is only for test purpose.
