So, no point me pursuing this any further with my guy? Or would someone still like to have a go?

Alps just my 0.02p I for one don't think this that an engine in turbo swap would be a good idea anymore. However thanks for taking the trouble to discuss it with the garage guy.

Cheers Mate

No worries dude.

Good thing is that out of this I'm hoping that I may have sorted out the big brake issue for some who can't justify the spend  But I need to do some more research, quizzing, and thinking before I go any further.

I'll start a new post for this though. Just hope it's as good as it sounds :)

I still find the infomration in the buehn engineering thread interesting. Jacob is suggestion a K03/16 is suitable (with other mods) for up to ~460BHP and I presume he is talking about US crappy fuel.

If these hybrids were liable to warp spindles like a stock K03 in a over spin situation surely he would never have sold more than a few pairs?

As far as I'm aware they have the option of normal or premium fuels much like us.

I'm also torn on the comments on Jacobs forum. MRC here say it's the exhaust side that is restrictive on the K03 but the K03/16 with a cut back exhaust turbine is giving very good power. Is that all it takes to get more air through the exhaust housing to allow more power out of them?

Guys, I have tuned a few K03/K04 cars for a customer of mine in the US, and honestly, the performance is nowhere near what straight K04 performance is, and as for reliability, God (or Satan) only knows

US fuels: their 93 is a bit better than our 98, west coast 92 is 97 and west coast pi$$water 91 is just utter cr@p...

Just my 0.02.

Mihnea
