Don't agree!

I have had 2 high mileage S4's both pre-facelift and never had problems with manifolds or turbos.

Go and look at the car and talk to the owner, you will get a much better feel of how genuine the car is.

If its not been pranged big style and the rest is an honest car, its worth 6k even if its done 100k miles.

They have loads of faults because 'they are not built like they used to be'. However, if you read all the stuff on these pages I don't think that you will want to buy one just because every potential problem is on here somewhere.

I've seen 'minters' that have been lovely shiney repair jobs!!!

Go along ready to chuck the 6k and spend another 1k on it then enjoy.... unless you park yours on the front for weeks on end like I do!
