if you took the exterior of the first and combined it with the interior of the second one it would look like a car that's been on MTV's Pimp my Ride Arabian Edition!
09 Audi S3 - Sprint Blue
99 Audi S4 - Ming Blue - (Gone but not forgotten)
04 Vauxhall Tigra 1.8 Sport - Antiga Blue (The Mrs Car)

I'm reminded of the staunch guy with the yellow S4 replica A4 who posted here in response to the thread about his car..

Car styling (for want of a better word) is an individual thing and the owners of those two linked cars probably think they look great. To each their own - though I personally am reminded of that advert of the 'pimped' VW Golf crying to itself in it's driveway ;).

(Though of course blocking the intercoolers goes a bit beyond a styling choice..).

I agree - one mans meat is another mans poison (so the old axiom goes) - I wouldn't knock anyones styling choice (except of course Ads4 "wicked ghetto-massive pimp-bitch" wheels  :assflash: )

Hence the point of the post - the original post is about blocking the intercoolers!!!

Went to have a look at the first car today and my mate ended up buying it. The intakes are not blocked off.... thankfully. The plastic grills have just been covered by lots of tiny pieces of sheet steel, so easy to return to standard.

With regard to the rest of the car, I think my mate will sell off the mobile disco, and hopefully I can talk him in to removing the badges.

6.5K. It's got a few faults, but at that price he can afford to fix them. I don't suppose it'll be long before he takes it to Banbury.
