I would not expect change out of 5k, and this is if you can get some parts second hand as opposed to paying stealer prices. Even things like facelift headlights where not cheap ...

why wouldn't he do a respray again ?

No,sorry,I meant he would not do the conversion again, because it was such a pain!

He did it in his spare/slack time to recduce the costs for me, but it ended up taking a longer than expected, think it got tricky...

That is a very very good question!

Well, its quite a unique car, and I do really really like how it looks, still certianly brings a smile to my face when I look at it ...

So, for me, yes I would say its worth it ... I have no intention of every selling this car, but that means there is never going to be an end to moding it ... eek

I notice you said Bonnet went on OK. Is the RS4 bonnet any different from an normal A4?

You know Mark I am not sure, I think it may well just be the same, thats why it went on ok! :lol:

I had to replace the bonnet anyway because it was damaged ....

The rs4 bonnet is taller in the middle , but only by a few mil..
He won't do a convertion again as he converted it from a pre facelift car too a face lift car on canbus , this ment changing all the loom and all the electrical items on the car..

I was talking about the bodyshop ... I had the wireloom/engine work done well before the widebody conversion.
