Mine has just turned 94k and have now owned the car for about 3 months. Car is stage 3 tuned, K04's were reconditioned not that long ago.

So far I have spent out on the following:-

Centre armrest (matching nogaro alcantara trim)
after-run pump mod replacement switch (other one was leaking)
rear diff seal (not yet fitted)
leather handbrake grip (plastic one was scabby and broken)
oil and filter
pollen filter
plenty of Shell V-Power

Still getting used to the power, but enjoying every minute of it :nogarors4:

I am getting the MRC500 treatment and am currently at about 42k... I am a bit weary for what this will do to the solidity of my car... it still feels quite good as it has been well looked after previously owned by a dealership MD.

118k with MTM remap from new; normal replacements (DVs, F-body, a few MAFs) but still going strong.

Keith asked me what chip i was running but i am stock as far as i know. He said it seems fast for a stock and is running spot on :D .

Just out of intrest what boost should i be running stock, ill get a boost gauge on it and confirm what im running.

Im abit weary about modding even though i want to but cant afford to replace turbos if they go.

He said exactly the same to me when i had mine done.... :?
You'd have thought he know's his S4's.....

Mines got 99k on it and boggo

Mines got 122K on it. Still going strong.

thinking of changing heads and short block if I go for more power.

Might get the Short block for RS4 (stronger) and new S4 heads to keep the low down torque.

Will cost about 4500 but at least will be spanking new engine. May have to upgrade some other aux bits too just to make sure its all tight but im planning on keeping it. Dont wanna pay labpour charges twice if something goes wrong with engine.

Saying that 122K probably is fine for the car anway. Im just paranoid and want it to feel like a new car. Nice zero mileage K04 engine.

I could get a second hand RS4 engine. But I dont need more than 500 HP at present. So having a bottom block will do fine for now the Ill change heads at a later date.

Mines rynning 350 hp at present with K02's decat pre cats gutted and miltek dual. Runs fine. Drinks a bit more than most other members cars.

Might be an issue where fuel consumptions does seriously get worse with age Currently I get between 150 and 180 on a tank. I do mostly 90% local driving, and thats in traffic. Thats why id rather have a new block.

Id say depending on what your needs are or how long you want to keep your car, predicted mileage over the next few years, that should help you deiide what to do.

Isn't yours the one that's been to the Moon and Back?

Fraid so markB. Side-swipe from a skip wagon alomost wrote the car off and a failed idler pulley caused a seized cam which popped up to say hello to the cylinder head-only 2 days after the belt change!! All sorted now by Audi though, so onwards and upwards I say (altogether off the road for about 5 months).

Reckon the MRC400 treatment is the way to go-heres looking forward to many more miles of S4 motoring....

at 70K miles now - got the car at 50K miles, had a MRC custom map 2 weeks after getting the car, stock K03s but had a milltek 3" cat back and gutted precats - been running the car on the remap for nearly 20K miles: no problems - car goes like a rocket for stock turbos (FATS of 4.94s - with passenger and spare wheel in the boot!)

Replaced usual stuff - all vacuum hoses, Samco f-hose and TBB, N75, N249, HX DVs, K&N air-filter, Platin plugs, regular high-quality oil/filter changes etc

Just passed through 60k miles in mine. Have owned the car for 6 months and very pleased with it indeed :D. Previous owner did a great job looking after the car, something that I hope to continue doing. Full cambelt service is booked for this coming week at MRC.
