SAB = side airbag. No, mine are OEM seats even though I bought them direct from Recaro. That's the whole point - I asked Recaro UK for seats and they offered me either aftermarket seats or the same ones that they supply Audi. When I asked about the heaters they told me that they come with heaters as standard. Of course they could have been wrong.

There are 3 sockets under my seat. One for motor power, one for the SAB and the other for the heater. I can't remember thr colours.

oh dear, this is turning out to be quite a job trying to determine whether the Recaros have heaters or not.

Got under mine and there certainly appears to be more than 3 plugs then i found this lot.

so the quest continues. from the drawings it looks like were looking for a flat, 6 pin conector

There are indeed. Red = power, Green = heating, Yellow = airbag

green is definately heating. i better go have another look, i'm sure mine doesn't look like that though
