fantastic place. definetely get all my tyres from there now - cheap + knowledgable + very fast.
but anyway, was told technically with the 225/40R18 tyres I had on my new wheels, I was bordering on being illegal...so putting 235/40R18 which I wanted (and was the motivating reason behind changing the wheels), would be very so. Which I didn't want to do.
It was also pointed out they were rubbing slightly, so I ended up just changing back to the standard wheels.
sigh.
Thats a shame..... I am running 8.5x18, eta 35, booted @235/40/18 ... dunlops, only thing can be your spacers on the front pushing you out too much.
You could raise it slighty another 5-10mm, get some heavier ARB's, stop it diving in corners as quickly.....? a thought ...
My tuppence ....
