Clive, the topic of suspension mod on the S4 must be scattered all over this chat page, and i must admit I'm not best qualified to advise you on this issue.... But what i have on my car are KW V2 coilovers. No complaints so far, present setting is just right in terms of cornering performance and comfort. It for sure is stiffer than S4 stock, but stock i felt was soft to begin with anyway. (passes the spouse test with flying colours so cannot be too bad) Best thing about the mod is that most of the understeer is now gone, and handling is very compliant. I'm thousands of miles away from UK so can't give any pointers on installers....

I personally feel the RS4 reps are the best looking wheel upgrade for the B5 S4, tho these things are very subjective. RS4 original wheels, in addition to being .5 inches wider, also have completely different offsets to fill out those bulged fenders. So they will not fit the S4 without substantial fender mods.

Thanks for that Eric. Looks like I will be going for a decent set of RS4 reps with the lowered suspension when I can get my hands at the elusive S4...

good luck and enjoy. Do try to avoid dodgy hubcaps like mine. I think both AMD and Achtuning sell reps with genuine hubcaps.
