Iain,

I have the timing belt due very soon.... what would you say this improved.

I find that unless I match the rev's purfectly and think about smoothly changing gear I often get a lot of drive train clonking.... maybe some of my mounts are well worn, but really I would look to this item to relieve me of these problems...
