To clarify, the 'integrated circuits' contain a small piece of circuitry on a 'silicon chip'.
That's where the term comes from

Regarding the Revo map, the dyno plots I've seen so far suggest that Revo program for higher boost than their competitors.

Higher boost means more torque/power, but in all probability, also a shorter engine life (you don't get something for nothing in this game...)

You not seen my plots yet then Dippy?

OK, I don't read the S3 forum much - there are just too many forums here to read them all.

1.4 doesn't sound too high, although aren't most AmD and APR S3s running a tad less?

I can only really comment on the RS4 plots I saw and Revo run higher boost than AmD or APR.

Anyway, I'm not being negative about Revo, just trying to be informative. I get the impression that some people think that raising boost does not harm the engine. It does. Increasing engine stress reduces its expected lifespan.

no probs, not coming across anti Revo - in fact its me who comes across as a bit pro Revo at times.

AMD run a overboost of 1.7 bar

APR run about 1.35 max, but both Revo and APR maintain there boost for longer, hence giving them comparative performance to the 'ass kick' examples.
