Steel Wheels?

Post by dsearle » Mon Dec 05, 2005 8:39 pm

I'm currently using my spare 17" alloy wheel. Does anybody know if I can use a normal 17" Steel wheel until I get a new Spare Alloy?

Cheers,

Dave

Ummmm, I know I'm being slightly dense here. Is getting a Steel wheel a bad move as a temporary measure?

As long as the rolling radius is close, and you drive like the car was just a 1.8 A4 whilst it's on, you can use any damn wheel that fits!

Afaik all VW's and Audi's share the bolts with OEM alloys and steel wheels.
