Decent Mats

Post by jonno1 » Tue Aug 09, 2005 6:29 pm

Anyone know where you can get some nice, quality floormats for an S4 Avant. The Audi ones I have are rubbish and keep folding up, get caught up under my heel and are generally cr#p.

I got my from autostyle - black with a contrasting binding in silver (to match my interior). Good quality and very pleased with the service (one of the mounting clips broke recently, so I called them up and they sent me two replacement one free of charge).

Yep a set of genuine Audi rubber mats, stops my muddy feet spoiling the carpet. Fit directly to the floor no issues with them moving.

On the subject of mats, I had my Octavia vRS for three years. When I sold it, I still had the original mats installed, and they were pristine. To preserve the drivers mat, I added an anodised aluminium heel plate from Demon Tweeks. I had to add a sheet of corrugated cardboard to the underside to stop the bolts from cutting into the carpet. The mats were sprayed with Scotchguard before installation.

If you look after your mats, you can save having to buy a new set every year at a ludicrous fee.
