New RS4 Wheels

Post by Wheeeee! » Mon Nov 14, 2005 12:15 am

Does anyone know where I can get hold of the new style RS4 wheels that will fit my '98 S4?
I was up at AmD on Tuesday getting my MAF sorted and spotted them. I was thinking about going for original RS4 reps but after seeing these, I want the new ones!
The ones AmD have are the wrong fitment (only VW or new A3) and they're not sure when their supplier will have them. So, was wondering if they are available from anywhere else?

Just search for RS4 on ebay, there are plenty of B7 RS4 replica wheels on there.

I'll second the ebay route, theres loads of them!! :D

If you do get them i'd love to see a picture on here having looked at these as a possibility myself!!

I really cant decide what wheels to put on my S4 :?

AmD have them for not very much money. Actually lifted one up and they are very light indeed !

Whats the general thought of the ebay wheels??

To me they look to cheap to be any good!?

Would the likes of the RS4 replicas from AMD be any different to the ones being offered by the many companies on ebay??

I had a set from e-bay and they were made in Italy by JW who make a lot of original eqipment wheels for other manufacturers.
Paint finish was not brilliant but i am a fussy Tw**.
Deffo worth the cash,my originals are being refurbed as we speak and i am going back to them until i can track a reasnobly priced set of 18" Ronals down.

You can always ask potential suppliers what brand their wheels are then compare them on price.

What happened to Wheeeee! btw ?

Theyre the ones! They look a bit BMWish, but they are growing on me...

Question in my mind is : will the original B7 wheels fit the B5 fitment or do you have to put up with reps?
Quality of the resps is very variable.

I rather like 'em. Are they split-rims? They have the little screw thingies, but I'm guessing they're just for show.

Hi, sorry guys for disappearing. Been drowning in work for the last few weeks.

I took the advice (thanks DavidT) and checked eBay. Found Elite in Essex that had them; I went over last Saturday and had them fitted. The anthracite finish goes well with the silver of the car IMHO and I'm very pleased with the results. I'll post a couple of pics in the next day or so so you can see for yourselves.

Cheers, Wheeeee!

I like the rims. I can see the bmw comparison, but I like the M5 rims too.
