S4 Avant - Wanted

Post by n5tew » Mon Jun 27, 2005 3:21 pm

Looking for an S4 Avant max 50k miles. What should i expect to pay, and were there any mid production updates/facelifts? Were the Recaro's an option?

Cheers

Look to pay £12000 upwards for a low mileage vehicle. Go for a facelift model, will cost a little more but well worth it. Recaro's were an option.
My S4 saloon facelift cost £15000 in March with 55,000 on it. It was a little on the steep side, but exactly what I was looking for and just round the corner from me.

Just been looking on Autotrader and for the mileage you are after, I think you will be looking more like £14k or £15k for a nice one and maybe even a bit more for one with recaros, satnav etc. £12k seems to buy a car with 75k miles upwards.

What did the facelift entail, when did it take place?

If you search on this site you will find the information but basically.....

One Piece Headlight + Indicators
New Door Handles
New Side Repeaters
Vented Rear Discs
Updated Turbos
New Switch gear

Thanks for your help, are there any good clean cars for sale on the forum? I've looked in the classifields, but wondered if anyone knew of one?
