Whomever ordered it originally ticked the top box and that was it!!

No extra's - all standard stuff for the facelift model I believe.

Then on balance - low mileage but basic spec - my figure would be £14k providing it's in very good condition.

That car has been for sale a long, long time. I'd offer 13 for it.

We may be talking about different S4's. This one is up near Aberdeen, only advertised last week as far as I'm aware.

On AT - url is a monster, search audi>A4>S4 - ebony black, 15900 - it'll be the one farthest away from you!

What one are you on about??

I was in a similar position and have now had my W plate silver S4 sedan for just over a year. Absolutely get leather, don't compromise on it, the other options are much less important (IMO).

My S4 has a few minor options : CD changer, centre arm rest, ski bag, and a boot lid spoiler - and one major option (for me) which is electrically adjustable and heated Recaros in black leather :) (there's pictures of the interior in my gallery)

They're superb and I'm well pleased. All of the other options were secondary. I spent quite a while looking for the right car and also being in Scotland I had to go down South to find the my car. So hang in there!

But it's been well worth it.

Leather - who needs it. Cold in winter, hot and sticky in summer, backside slide about loads. Give me cloth any day. I've had both and whilst I appreciate and agree that leather looks much better, I'd have cloth any day of the week. It is much more practical as a driving option....personal preferance though...

My 2p,

Seems like you guys have the same problem trying to find a decent S4 than I had trying to get a good RS4. In which case you may have to comprise.
Would you rather a perfect car mechanically and in every other way - but cloth, or a car with leather and which is a bag of <beep>?
The right car will come up, but if you can't wait 6 months then you must comprimise. I ended up looking at cars in a colour I didn't want because I couldn't wait any longer. The excitement was too much and months of looking couldn't stop me :D
In the end, I got my perfect car, but I did wait for it.

What's wrong with a re-trim? I've seen some great jobs done, and at least you can choose the exact colour. Half silver alcantara would be cool with silver exterior :thumb:

All the best,

Ben
