NEW TO THIS S4 LARK AND CAN'T WAIT.....

Post by berry100 » Wed Oct 13, 2004 12:34 pm

Am new to this site so bear with me for more S4 questions.

Currently in the market for an S4 AVANT for approx £13k.

Have already been out in a revo'd S4 AVANT and was well impressed :D but didn't know it's history re any problems it may have had when first revo'd.

When i get one, which is the best chip tuning route? don't wish to go any further than this though, should be enough power for me!! issues such as reliability/performance/fuel consumption etc.

If anyone has one for sale then let us know, do have an AUDI TDI 130 SE to get rid off though so if you take part ex. !!!! even better!!

Hi and welcome.

My advice is to take your time and ponder carefully before modding. First you will need to be sure that the car you buy is fully healthy before you do any mods. Secondly until you have lived with the S4 for a few months at least, you can't be certain of what your priorities for modding should be.

Check out the For Sale forum. There are a couple of S4 Avants for sale in there, including mine :)

which might be a bit over your price limit (£15495), and a very nice looking Imola Yellow one:
